Today was the first rehearsal of the new 2016/17 session.
We welcomed 15 new members to the orchestra, we are very glad they came along and joined in with the great sound that the orchestra is producing even after some time off.
The orchestra began learning and practicing some of the pieces that we will be playing on tour next year, this sees the return of some of the orchestra’s old favourites.
This rehearsal was also the debut of our new section leaders, congratulations to them!
Week one and the orchestra is already sounding great, and it can only go up from here.
